Conference presentation: Overcoming the Digital Barrier
Delighted to co-present at The global CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) conference today, 10th March 2021, on the topic of having great conversations online. Working with the ever-excellent Tess Nixon, we drew on our extensive theoretical and practical backgrounds to deliver an accessible and thought provoking session.
Session description:
We all encounter challenging or high stakes conversations at work and these can be even harder when we have to compensate for a digital barrier. This practical session (stuffed with top tips) will give advice on managing nerves, preparing for and delivering great conversations. We’re talking about conversations that are of high importance; management and leadership, conflict, solving complex problems, meetings with senior stakeholders – where the quality of the conversation really matters. Find your authentic voice to communicate with clarity, confidence and conviction. The session is suitable for staff at all levels.
